More LV.X Cards! In addition to the 4 powerful Pokémon LV.X, the set also includes cards that can make good use of these Pokémon. Milotic (25/106) can defend against Pokémon LV.X with Poké-Body Emergency Protection, while Premier Ball (101/106) always finds Trainer cards for Pokémon LV.X – whether in your deck or in your discard pile. Cresselia LV.X (103/106) is an additional threat to your opponent: if it knocks out a Pokémon with Moon Hopper, you can draw an additional bonus card.
Ensure an Energy Boost
There are some Pokémon Abilities that simply belong in your next deck. Togekiss (11/106) can use Nobility when you bring it into play from your hand. This allows you to look at the top 10 cards of your deck and attach any basic Energy cards you find there to any of your Pokémon. Or would you prefer a different type of energy supply? Sceptile (8/106) doubles the effectiveness of all Grass Energy attached to your Grass Pokémon with Poké-Body Wild Growth. Porygon-Z (6/106) has a trick for Energy cards: if you discard a basic Energy card as a prize for Poké-Power Conversion, Porygon-Z changes its type to match the energy – great for exploiting the defending Pokémon's weakness.
The Right Equipment
Pokémon Tools first appeared in Diamond & Pearl. Tools immediately set a new standard for cards that enhance your Pokémon. With Coin Amulet (97/106), you can draw a card at the end of your turn if it's attached to your Active Pokémon. If you don't need any more cards, you should check out Leftovers (99/106)!
