Rise of the Duelist er et boostersæt med 100 kort, der fortsætter en lang række kraftfulde arketyper.
Dragon Master Gaia vil dukke op igen i dette sæt. Yugis strategier med Gaia, Angry Knight og også katapultskildpadden genoplives og integreres i den moderne duel. Derfor vil mange nye Gaia monsterkort blive frigivet. "Gaia the Magical Dragon Champion" viser arketypens nye styrke. På grund af kortets virkning kan det modsatte monster miste 2600 ATK og ødelægges som følge heraf. Alternativt kan Gaia ødelægge det modsatte monster gennem kamp og dermed modtage yderligere 2600 ATK.
I sættet Rise of the Duelist får nye "Infernoble Knights" også deres debut. Disse kan også spilles med de ædle riddere, der allerede er dukket op. For at få det maksimale potentiale for dækket bør de to riddere "Infernoble Knight - Renaud" og "Infernoble Knight - Roland" fra Toon Chaos ikke glemmes. I kombination vil dækket være en reel udfordring for modstanderen.
Rise of the Duelist-udgaven har mange flere overraskelser i vente. Succesfulde arketyper, såsom Rikka og Stone Liberators fra Secret Slayers, fortsættes. Du kan også se frem til flere helt nye kort til et Dragon Girl og Mathemech deck, som vi allerede kender fra Mystic Fighters udgaven. Et andet højdepunkt er et helt nyt Chaos-monster, som passer perfekt til de tidligere udgivne monstre fra Toon Chaos.
Rise of the Duelist er et boostersæt med 100 kort, som er opdelt i 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 14 Ultra Rares og 10 Secret Rares.
